A few weeks ago news became public that Eddie Simon would be leaving his role as Brand Manager for AVO, Griffin’s and Winston Churchill. (Eddie Simon’s newest role is at this point, unannounced and he has not officially taken any new position at Davidoff.)

Yesterday, Davidoff announced internally who would be taking over Simon’s former jobs. Scott Kolesaire, former Junior Brand Manager for Winston Churchill, will now oversee marketing for AVO, Corazon (a value-priced brand), Davidoff Dry Goods and Winston Churchill.

Dylan Austin, the current head of marketing for Camacho, will now assume the position for Griffin’s. In an e-mail sent to the employees, Jim Young, the new President of Davidoff of Geneva North America, thanked Simon for his work, saying, “we thank Eddie for his considerable impact and contribution to our business and wish him well in his next endeavors.” In addition, Young said, “Peter (Baenninger, Head of Global Retail) and I have every confidence that these new marketing responsibilities will be carried out with excellence and the strong foundation built by Eddie will be even stronger going forward.”

Changes are effectively immediately.
