The Toraño Family Cigar Company has announced that they will be releasing the second release of their limited edition Vault Corona Gorda in April. Unlike the first release, which debuted at IPCPR 2011, the second release will feature boxes of 20, as opposed to humidors of 20 cigars.

MSRP for the new release is $7.20 per cigar or $144.00 per box. While the 750 box release is larger than the roughly 500 humidors that were released in late 2011, the 2012 version is still limited. Jack Toraño, Marketing & Customer Relations Manager, confirmed that Toraño was no longer offer the Vault Humidor to retailers.

While Toraño was prepared to sell up to 500 Vault Humidors, they opted to sell less and have left over humidors. A little more than 200 of these humidors will be offered for sale without cigars on a new online store on the Toraño website.

“The shopping cart will be attached to our website and we will be selling our lighters and ashtrays, anything that isn’t (a) cigar,” said Jack Toraño.

Toraño said that the new online storefront will be online in a few months.
