A special My Father Corona will be heading to Cigars International, Cigar.com and its affiliates in June, just in time for Father’s Day. The classic vitola has never been released in the García’s family namesake line and is the third limited edition bearing the My Father band announced this year, alongside the Federal Cigar 91st Anniversary, which came in two wrappers, and Atlantic Cigar Co. 15th Anniversary.

2,000 boxes of 10 cigars in the 5 x 42 vitola are being released with MSRP being set at $7.00 per cigar, although word is boxes will likely be sold at around $60.00.

Cigars International and Cigar.com are owned by Scandinavian Tobacco Group, who also owns General Cigar Co. However, the My Father Corona will not be exclusive to the two online and catalog merchants, rather specific to its wholesale distributor, Meier and Dutch.

The My Father Corona is expected to begin shipping in June.

Update (November 18, 2013): The number of cigars per box was 10, not 12.
