Editor’s Note: And here we are. One week out from the IPCPR trade show and things are reaching their peak. Last week saw a host of new product announcements and this week is likely to be no different. Later this week a massive post outlining what to expect at IPCPR should be up, I’d estimate [...]

A bit ago we mentioned that Berger & Argenti was announcing the Entubar V32 and now we have some of the details. When I spoke to Mike Argenti back at the IPCPR show in New Orleans he told me about a bunch of ideas that he had for the future of the Entubar line, and [...]

Mentioned in the news a few days ago, word from Berger & Argenti after the jump. As a bit of an editor’s note, expect a lot more press release posting over the next two and a half weeks as the IPCPR show looms upon us. The initial picture has one of the more interesting contrasts [...]

Add this to the list of things I forgot last week… Illusione is adding a lot of Maduro. I originally was under the impression that it was only the ~CG:4~, but according to Dion Giolito, the ~88~, ~888~, ~mj12~ and ~CG:4~ will all get Maduro wrappers and be out by the IPCPR show in July. [...]

On Tuesday, we broke the news regarding the discontinuation of the AVO 787. La Sirena, Miami Cigar & Co.’s newest release, is in Miami at the warehouse, should be at retailers in a few days. In other news from Miami Cigar & Co., the La Aurora Corojo will be released at the 2011 IPCPR show. For anyone that was at the show this past year, you’ll know it was one of the cigars featured at the booth, however packaging and branding concerns led to a decision to relaunch and release the cigar in July. It will feature new packaging and banding, but the cigar itself will be the same. La Aurora also announced that the 1495 BME Sumo Short Robusto will be making it’s U.S. debut. The NUb-style cigar has been in the European markets since early fall, and Miami Cigar & Co. has now decided to bring the cigar to the U.S. market. It’s 4 x 58 and should be available in a few packaging options, including boxes of five. In other large ring gauge news, the Cain F NUb is also shipping this week, the post from when we originally broke the story now has price points for the two sizes. In other Oliva/Studio Tobac news, rumor has it the Studio Tobac tour will start on el niño diablo’s birthday.
