A Visit to Casa Fuente, Las Vegas

I was sitting at Casa Fuente in Las Vegas on Wednesday smoking with a couple of Great BOTLs (which is the reason the blog was not updated yesterday, if you were wondering), I realized that I have not seen any really large high quality photos of the Casa Fuente store and its contents, and that in the past few months, I have recieved a few emails asking what the place looks like inside. So, I decided (on an earlier trip) to get permission to photograph inside the store, all in the interest of informing my faithful readers who have never been.

And as promised, here are some photos of what the outside and inside Casa Fuente (which if you are looking for it, is in Caesar’s Palace at the end of the Forum Shops) looks like:

This is the first thing you see as you walk into the main store itself:

Turn to the left to see the bar:

Walk inside the store, and this is what you see when you walk into the humidor….the main humidor is the left:

Where we have some the “Less Stellar” sticks (ie, the Casa Fuente House brand):

Turning to right, you find a section with all the “great stuff“…

Some of the aforementioned “Great Stuff” (ie, AF 13s and Forbidden X BBMF, both at $125):

Back outside, the waitress will happily serve you one of the famous Casa Fuente Mojitos:

And finally, here is a photo looking at the outside of the store, where you can sit and smoke:

Hope that gives yall some idea of what the place is like! I visit every time I go to Vegas, and would not miss it.

I have always wondered what this place looked like. While I am not a chaser of "HTF" Fuentes, that mojito and the backdrop for that photo both look spot on! OK, I'll admit it- one HTF Fuente that I have really appreciated was the Don Carlos lancero!

Nice post! First of all Casa Fuente is NOT NOT NOT closing. They doing plenty of business. True you pay more there for a cigar than off the strip, but that is how strip life is. When I go, I bring my cigars, but I do purchase from the same company that is part owner of Casa Fuente. My local cigar group is having our meeting there.

The next time anyone is in town and want to meet up for a cigar there, or at Rhumbar, let me know. I work near the strip, so it is easy to get to.

Maybe it's closing because nobody is paying $125 for a cigar. My bro went and it was like 12 bucks for a Short Story.

Yeah I just discussed this with Patrick. I was not aware of the commercial release...Now i'm curious to see how they compare to the older 44's :) I'll have to check my B&M next time i'm down there

Looks like a helluva place! Any notes on the Padron 44, Brooks? One of the finer smokes (natural) I've had this year. Any comparison to the 45? Haven't had the 45, but could it be better than the awesome 44??? Wish the natual wasn't sold out at SI... maduros are available, though :)

Thanks for the comments s0leful0ne, and thanks for reading :)

Just FYI, (since there is a lot of misinformation out there) the cigar I smoked WAS a Padron 44th...while they were originally only available at Padron events (and only had one band on them, as you said) they are now for sale commercially at a few retailers in 10 count boxes...

Hope that helps!

Wow dude great pics! I was just there a few months ago. If I remember correctly the waitress in the last photo was smoking hot! If you like mojitos their Hemmingway is an interesting one to try. Also, If there is a waitress there who's hair looks like its obviously dyed black, and a hint of trashy, tell her I said hi and sorry for not coming back for her. LOL.

I've heard that Casa Fuente is closing soon, hopefully i get a chance to go back before it does.

Btw...The Padron you brought with you is the 45th not the 44. The 44 has only the Padron authenticity band on it.

Really good pics Brooks, it brings me back to one of my favorite spots in Vegas! Ah... a nice Casa Fuente double robusto and mojito sounds good right about now... Oh whoops, maybe back to work first!
