Introducing the halfwheel Newsletter
Next Monday, we will release the first edition of our newest offering, the halfwheel Newsletter. The product will be emailed the first Monday of each month and will feature a combination of new articles and a series of our favorite reviews and news stories from the prior month. It’s a clean product, and one that we are very proud of and have spent a lot of time crafting. A sneak preview is below.

Oh, and the best part. Each month we will give away a box of cigars to one random subscriber. I would doubt that there will be a single box given away that wouldn’t be eligible for a halfwheel review, meaning, the cigars will be rare, hard-to-find, limited edition, prereleases, etc.
The first box we are giving away is a box of Herrera Esteli Toro Especial, a cigar that isn’t out yet. The winner will be announced the morning of the publishing of the second issue, February 4, 2013.
All you need to do be registered and eligible to win a box is register below. It is of course free.
If you are subscribed to the halfwheel RSS feed via e-mail, you ARE NOT preregistered, meaning you need to register again.

Our Top 25 will debut in the first edition of the halfwheel newsletter. It goes out at 1 PM EST tomorrow.
I'm in Halfwheel. If your using G-mail check the spam folder for your conformation..
Can't get it to work! I am on my phone though.. Aarrgghh
@ABNCigarFan918 Try a computer. I imagine that might be the issue.

Mark Cary Shoot your email to [email protected]
Tried signing up, still some bugs, each time I go to confirm, it sends me back to the sign-in...........I have 4 confirm emails now????
Thought we had worked out the bugs, but apparently not.
First, many of you are signed up. And on a having issues vs. those signed up, it seems like a very small portion.
With that being said, I made a small change that should help fix the issue, but I ultimately believe that unless you didn't receive an e-mail, which you should within a minute of filling out the form, you are likely signed up. (Check your junk box.)
If you click the confirmation link twice, it will direct you to a page where it says "Thanks for your interest." and that means you are confirmed. If you hit it again, you go back to the form. It's not that you have been removed, it's just an issue with how this is working.
If you are still having issues/very concerned about your registration status, e-mail me.
Sorry for the inconveniences.
@Charlie Minato I am having the same problem. I click the link in the confirmation email I received, but that takes me back to the original subscription sign-in page where it asks, again, for name, email address.
@Charlie Minato
Will do, thanks brother, as Matt mentioned hotmail as well had it in the junk, I cured that, but still get redirected to sign up each time
@Charlie Minato I'm signed up, but, as an FYI, gmail throws the confirmation email to the Spam folder
@MattyBlayze @Charlie Minato I'd advise everyone with gmail to add [email protected] to your contact list, gmail appears to be being very aggressive in marking these spam even if you mark not spam
@MattyBlayze @Charlie Minato We've tried to do our best to avoid this.
Sounds great. love the site
What a great way to start the year! Here's to the continued expansion of the Halfwheel Empire!! : - )
Been a few minutes.......I haven't even received the confirmation e-mail? Yet the note in green above, is noting to check e-mail/confirm subscription..........?
Thanks. Look forward to reading your posts and now newsletter.
The confirmation link in the email doesn't work as it should, it redirects to http://www.halfwheel.com/newsletter-2/?subscribe , but it doesn't explicitly say "You are Subscribed!" once clicked. We can't tell whether the confirmation process worked or failed. Otherwise, I am looking forward to the mails. ;)
I really enjoy the blog here over most other sites, and the news letter is another great addition to that. Keep up the good work and ill keep coming back:)
Am i doing something wrong? I entered in my email but it keeps asking me to confirm it. Its correct but the subscribe button is grayed out.
@cbomb I think you need to confirm it in your email inbox. Just a thought.
Done. No better sources for news and info on her web, in my opinion.
Done and done, gladly. Nothing against anyone else, but I've always stayed off of cigar blogs, but the attitude and presentation here drew me in. Heh ... "Drew" ... Anyhow, nice job and happy new year!
@dancrago Thanks.
