Brad Mayo of Jameson Cigar Co. has officially launched 898Outfitters.com, an online store selling t-shirts and a cigar case as part of their initial offerings.

“It’s basically a creative outlet,” said Jameson, adding that “I wanted to create a brand that could encompass handcrafted products and designs inspired by the culture we’re so passionate about, so 898 was born.” The store had been online for a few weeks prior to the official launch, with Mayo often using the #898Outfitters hashtag in blog posts and Tweets to direct customers to it.

While several of the shirts feature logos from Jameson’s latest offering, La Resolución, the 898 Outfitters name is also being used as its own brand, drawing from the store’s slogan of ‘capturing the untamed soul of cigar culture.’ Jameson’s La Resolución cigar was reviewed on halfwheel in September.

Mayo has also launched a Tumblr account for the store where he posts new product info and photos of things that inspire new creations.
