News: Crémo Cigars Announces New Projects
In an interview on RobbyRasReviews’ December 27th Cigar Chat, Walter “Lilo” Santiago of Crémo Cigars announced two new projects that he is working on – the Crémo Capa Caliente and an as yet unnamed cigar that is slated to be released at the 2013 IPCPR trade show.
Specifics about both projects remain a bit vague at this point, but the Capa Caliente is due out at the end of 2013 or in early 2014. Santiago described it as having “a little spice to it ” before developing into a smooth flavor. “The way we blend our cigars, they fall into the smooth category,” he added. The bands and boxes are ready but the blend is still being tweaked. While he didn’t specify what was being tweaked, he did say the wrapper has been confirmed, though he didn’t say what it would be.

Santiago didn’t say much about the other project, other than it would be released at the 2013 IPCPR show. He did mention that he is looking at both Lancero and large-ring gauge vitolas.
