News: Details of New E.P. Carrillo Cigar Emerge
In the first hour of his Saturday, January 26 show, Cigar Dave mentioned a new release that was coming from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo titled Perez-Carrillo. No details regarding blend, price or sizes were mentioned as the blend is still being finalized, though the new line is down to three blend options for final consideration and is slated to debut at the 2013 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show in July.
Details of the Short Run 2013 were also mentioned: it will use an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Dominican Piloto Cubano binder and Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian filler. Cigar Dave quoted Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III as saying that this year’s edition will be “the fullest of the four Short Runs we have done to date, but it’s creamy and spicy.”
The E.P. Carrillo Short Run will come in Robusto, Toro and Magnum vitolas, with 1,500 boxes of 24 cigars produced for each size. MSRP is said to be between $6 – $9 per cigar.

@maxx Try as we might, we can't break every story on the planet....but we are working on it :)
I have fallen in love with this brand over the last few months. They deserve a lot of credit for what they've put and I have not smoked a bad one yet.
I've loved all of the Short Runs thus far - the 2012 being my favorite. I can't wait to smoke the 2013 knowing it will be the fullest yet.
Short run 2013 HELL YEAH.
