News: My Father Cigars Adds 6 x 60s
My Father Cigars announced on Friday afternoon that they would be joining the ever-expanding 6 x 60 ring gauge portion of the cigar market with a pair of new cigars, the My Father #6, a box-pressed 6 x 60 Toro Gordo; along with the Don Pepín Garcia Original in a 6 x 62 Toro Grande.
From the company’s Facebook post:

New sizes added to the My Father and the Don Pepin Garcia OriginalAs times change, smoking preferences change and the new trend for consumers is the 60-ring-gauge cigar. For this reason, you asked and we delivered. There is now a new size in the My Father line and one in the Don Pepin Garcia Original.
In the My Father line we have added the My Father #6, a box pressed Toro Gordo 6 x 60, in an 18 cigar count box. This box will have the beautiful and signature packaging of My Father, but will be in three rows of 6, a new style for this line. Suggested retail price for the My Father #6 is $12.00 per cigar. For the Don Pepin Garcia Original we will be releasing a 6 x 62 Toro Grande, also box pressed in an 18 cigar count box, with traditional Don Pepin Garcia packaging in rows of 6. Suggested retail price for the Don Pepin Garcia Original Toro Grande is $9.50.
Expect these in stores for the holidays. Shipping will begin the first week of December!

I was referring to Cuban cigars, but I am surprised a 70 gauge would be part of regular production. Its a donkey dong imo.
@Don Piero That size is so not needed. Donkey Kong would not even smoke it.
No Need to go to gimmicky sizes. If the tobacco is good, all you need is a robusto. I hope the Cubans don't follow the non-cuban industry. Lets see who will be the first to mass produce a 70 ring gauge, LOL!
@Don Piero I am going to hurl.
@Don Piero Are you asking which Cuban marca will be the first to do a 70? I ask because there are several manufacturers producing 7 x 70s, including Casa Fernandez's JFR 7 x 70, which I've been told is selling incredibly well.
@PHXCigarGuy @Don Piero I'm quite familiar with the 7x70s and I see them as a travesty against cigar-y nature. So stupid!
The masses have spoken.
I used to really like this size but have gotten away from them. Was hoping they wouldn't go to this size, but its about selling smokes, and there is a big market out there for these.
@Kevin Jackson They sold out it seems. Compromising their blends for a buck. Sad IMHO.
Will wait to hear the coming reviews. Not overly excited.
