News: Litto Gomez Confirms Limitado V, Oro & More From LFD at IPCPR 2012
In an interview with David Jones of Tiki Bar Online, Litto Gomez spoke about three of his IPCPR plans: Limitado V, Oro and an extension to Ligero Cabinet Oscuro.
A few months ago, Gomez told George Brightman Limitado V was coming—although the timeline wasn’t set entirely. The cigar will in fact debut at IPCPR. For the fifth installment, Gomez is using a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. No prices or sizes were disclosed.
“The blend was based on the original Limitado,” said Gomez.
In addition, he once again spoke about the plan for a new tubo-based line, which will be known as Oro. The line features three sizes: a Chisel and two 6 x 54 vitolas. Once again, a dark and oily wrapper will be used, this time a Nicaraguan Habano. Gomez said the line is called Oro, for golden tubes. Viaje also makes a line called Oro.
Finally, Gomez said the Ligero Cabinet Oscuro will be receiving a Short Torpedo extension.
There was no mention of any of the Culebras and other limited releases that are oftentimes offered to retailers at IPCPR, but Gomez hinted it would be a lighter year for LFD at the trade show in terms of new products.
