News: Viaje Adds Friends and Family to December Shipment
Multiple retailers have confirmed to halfwheel, Viaje’s invoices for its upcoming December shipment list the Friends and Family as being included in the shipment, which will also include WLP Stuffed Turkey Dark Meat and White Meat, Holiday Blend Robusto and Holiday Blend Candy Cane.

According to the invoice, WLP Stuffed Turkey, which is expected to be limited to 150 bundles as per the above photo, will retail for $244.00 per bundle for both the Natural and Maduro versions. Earlier this year, the November edition of the White Label Project was delayed until the holiday shipment.
As for this year’s version of the Holiday Blend, the Robusto (4 3/4 x 54) will retail for $280.00 for a box of 30, while the new barberpole Candy Cane (6 x 54) will for a slightly higher $11.50 per cigar, or $230.00 for a box of 20.
Friends and Family, which was quietly passed out at IPCPR 2011, was released for sale in late February alongside the WLP Winter Classic and Super Shot 10. Retailers reported receiving a single box of the 7 x 48 box-pressed Churchill with MSRP at $230.00 for a box of 15 given the invoice price. Multiple retailers have confirmed the 7 x 48 Friends and Family size is once again on the invoice with an invoiced price of $230.00.
When asked for comment, Viaje stated in an e-mail, “heard the same rumor.”

Retailers have indicated they expect this shipment later in the week.

Unfortunately many retailers are getting fed up with the viaje brand I am hearing. Maybe it's not good business practice to invoice someone for inventory that they haven't ordered. And the quality just doesn't match the retail price point on these blends which is catching up with this company. Oh the time is nearer than they think. The euphoria is tanking.
I meant Friends and Family and Acquaintances.
When do we get the review of the limited edition Halfwheel friends and family?
Easily in my top 3 best Viajes to date. Cant wait for these. Im looking for another box.
Another batch of overpriced, glorified dog rockets being deployed... watch out.
Funny, the Fuente's give their big retailers a few special boxes for free every year but Viaje charges them $18 a stick for them and they arrive unannounced. Then Viaje has the nerve to call the stick "Friends and Family" ? Great brothers gouge their other brothers $18 for crummy sticks all the time.
The 2 F&F sticks I bought last year were so poorly constructed and underfilled, you could have barely made a petite robusto out of each.
Thanks but no thanks... and it would be different, if these were actually good, or well made.
I am so done with this brand...
was'nt that crazy about this stick
