Press Release: Mad/Dash Adds Alec Bradley Cigars to Client List

October 18, 2012 — Whether one is an outright cigar devotee, or only occasional puffer, you would have had to live under a rock the past decade not to take note of Alec Bradley Cigars’ trajectory rise as one of the award winning boutique cigar companies.

And like most in the cigar world (consumers and trade alike) Mad/Dash managing director Aaron Sigmond has observed with keen interest Alec Bradleyʼs continued growth, dedication and success— all of which culminated in Alec Bradley garnering the Cigar Aficionado Cigar of the Year this past January for its Prensado Churchill.

“They say do what you love, and for over twenty years I have been proud to say that Iʼve enjoyed  the distinct privilege of working for and with some of the biggest cigar companies (Altadis USA, Davidoff of Geneva Distribution, Inc and General Cigar Co.), as well as some exceptional boutique cigar brands (Bahia, Graycliff and Nat Sherman) in the world,” said Sigmond. “So it is with no small measure when I say that I am thrilled to be working once again with a client in an industry I dearly love, and doing so with a brand that I have both a great personal affection and affinity — Alec Bradley,” Says Sigmond.

“People who know Alec Bradley as a company, know that on the whole we make calculated strategic decisions, with a focus on the long-term,” says Sam Phillips, VP of Marketing for Alec Bradley. Phillips continues, “I have long been a fan of what Aaron has accomplished on the cigar media side of things with Smoke Magazine, The Cigar Report and Playboy: Book of Cigars. His intimate knowledge of, and lifelong commitment to, the cigar industry is clear and we are happy to be working with him and Mad/Dash.”

Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley, has a simple take on cigars, and life in general is, “The greatest luxury in life is time. Cigars are all about the time you take for yourself and an exceptional watch is a reminder that one should never take that time for granted.” To which Sigmond replied, “And that is something that Mad/Dash is thrilled to support.”

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only person who was asking the same question!!!

Ditto. Who is Mad Dash and what do they do? Marketing company, ad agency? If Mad Dash wrote this press release, Alan Rubin may want to rethink his decision to be their client.

Goodness, that managed to say absolutely nothing! Who is Mad/Dash, and why should we be aware of them?

This press release was completely useless.
